ABC Ignite September 2026 Product Updates

[ABC-Ignite]_Blog_header-monthly-product-updates_2026-September

Stronger operational controls and more engaging coaching and member experiences

September’s releases focus on two areas of the IGNITE platform: the controls clubs rely on at the front desk and at checkout, and the tools coaches and members use to stay engaged with training. Updates to balance enforcement, discount control, and ACH compliance help teams protect revenue with clear, consistent rules. Updates to workout creation, step tracking, challenges, and partner content give members more reasons to show up and stay involved.

Together, these releases reflect a practical focus on making daily operations more controlled and daily coaching more connected. Here is how each update supports those priorities.

Manage Your Business with Confidence

Stronger Controls on Past Due Memberships

Clubs can now opt in to block staff from renewing or rewriting a membership while the member has an outstanding balance. The check looks at both the ABC account balance and the club account balance, including past due purchases for secondary members on the same agreement. If a balance is owed, the action is stopped and the agreement page identifies which account is past due. The balance must be cleared at POS before the membership can move forward, and a security role override does not bypass the check. The setting is off by default and is enabled location by location, so each club decides where to enforce it.

This enables:

  • A hard stop on renewals and rewrites while a balance remains open
  • Consistent enforcement across primary and secondary members on the same agreement
  • Clear error messaging that tells staff exactly which balance needs attention

Catalog-Based Auto Apply for POS Discounts

Operators can now lock a POS discount type so it applies only through an approved catalog list. When the setting is on, staff can no longer select that discount manually for items outside the list, so promotional pricing is applied where the club intends. Clubs that leave the setting off see no change to how discounts work today.

This helps clubs:

  • Keep catalog-restricted promotions limited to eligible items
  • Maintain tighter control over which discounts staff can select at checkout
  • Help reduce pricing errors without adding steps to the standard discount workflow

Payer Notifications for Bank Account Authorization

When a bank account is added or reinstated for ACH payments, IGNITE now notifies the payer by email and stores a PDF of the authorization as retained proof. Email notifications were enabled on September 14, and SMS support is in development. The notification supports Nacha Operating Rules requiring ACH Originators to provide payers with a copy of their authorization and to produce proof if a dispute arises. Because it is a compliance message, it is always sent and cannot be turned off.

Account Reconciliation for Every Club

The Account Reconciliation report, the main view of accounts, account changes, and their financial impact, is now available to clubs on iSeries and Commerce. Every club now gets the same reconciliation view, regardless of which platform it runs on.

Engage Your Members More Effectively

AI Workout Builder V2

The AI Workout Builder is now in beta for IGNITE Engagement customers, with a redesigned experience that sits where coaches create workouts. It uses a split view with the preview on the left and the chat on the right. The preview shows exercises, sets, and structure in a format that is easy to scan, and the duration shown matches the workout that is created. Coaches can choose Build with AI or Build Manually from a single New button. The AI is also better at applying coach feedback to the preview, which is designed to help coaches reach a finished workout in fewer rounds of refinement.

Custom Forms Editing for Coaches

Coaches can now edit a submitted check-in or onboarding form directly, or complete a scheduled form on a client’s behalf. This removes the need to ask a client to redo an entire form to correct one answer. Every edit is tracked, with the submission and the last editor and time displayed on the form. The capability is available on web for now.

Daily Step Goals

Coaches can set a daily step target for each client, either individually or in bulk from the client grid. Step data synced from Apple Health, Google Health Connect, Fitbit, Garmin, or Withings updates goal progress automatically, and clients without a wearable can log steps manually. Clients see live progress and a goal hit indicator in the app and on web, which keeps progress visible for both coach and member.

Enhancements to Challenges (Point Adjustments in Pilot)

Two updates expand how clubs run challenges. First, challenges can now reward daily step goals and daily water goals alongside existing rules. Points are awarded automatically when a participant meets or exceeds the goal, and a single challenge can combine any number of rules. This gives members more ways to take part and recognizes consistent healthy habits.

Second, challenge leaders can award or remove points for enrolled participants on web and mobile. This feature is in pilot, so only select Challenges pilot customers will see it in their accounts for now. It helps when a kiosk or sync issue means an event was not recorded. Adjustments can only use point values from rules already configured on the challenge, apply only while the challenge is running, and cannot push a participant’s balance below zero. Awarded points notify the participant, which helps keep leaderboards accurate.

HYROX Workouts in IGNITE Engagement (Pilot)

Official HYROX video workouts, roughly 50 pieces of content, are available natively within IGNITE Engagement through a locked on-demand Hyrox program in the Master Library. Clubs can subscribe members manually or through automations based on membership type or recurring service. Content is pulled live from the HYROX Partner API and streamed inside the app, so members can train with official HYROX content without leaving IGNITE. The locked program keeps the official workouts intact. This feature is in pilot, so only select pilot customers will see these workouts in their accounts for now.

Booking Link Settings for IGNITE Sales

Clubs using the Online Scheduler can now customize how appointments booked through their Booking Link are scheduled, without changing their IGNITE Sales calendar setup. A new Booking Link Settings section under Company Settings groups three controls: the maximum number of bookings per timeslot, the default appointment length, and the interval at which appointments can be booked. Admins and Club Manager or Regional Manager roles can configure these settings, and existing defaults stay in place until a user changes them.

This enables:

  • Booking availability that fits how each club schedules tours and appointments
  • A default appointment length and booking interval that match the club’s schedule
  • Booking link changes without reconfiguring the IGNITE Sales calendar

Consistent Active Member Counts Across Insights

The State of the Business, Member Analysis, and Daily Snapshot dashboards, along with the All Members report, now share one Active Member definition, aligned with M&O reporting. Prospects, deleted records, and duplicates are excluded, so the member count is the same wherever teams look.

Historical Data and Faster Financial Data Mart Reports

The DRDR Financial Data Mart (FDM) report now includes historical iSeries data alongside Commerce data, giving a unified view across both periods. All FDM reports have also been reengineered to improve performance across the collection.

Built for the Way Clubs Operate

September’s releases strengthen the foundation clubs rely on every day: clear rules for balances and discounts, compliant payment notifications, and practical tools that keep coaches and members connected to training. Each update is designed to help teams spend their time where it matters most.
