Accurate data, clearer financial reporting, and new ways to keep members engaged
July’s releases start with the numbers that run a club. Member counts, subscription totals, and month-end revenue shape decisions from the front desk to the boardroom, so this month focused on making those figures more reliable and easier to interpret. Clubs now have a corrected active member count, an accrual view for journal entries, and a month-end report that separates revenue earned from cash collected.
The month also extended IGNITE into the member experience and new growth opportunities. Event wait lists now show each member’s position, IGNITE Engagement introduced challenges and device controls for pilot clubs, and a new funding option entered pilot for IGNITE Commerce customers. Here is how each release supports the work of running a club.
Manage Your Business with Confidence
Accurate Active Member Counts in the All Members Report
The All Members report now determines member status from the same active-flag logic as the source system, so inactive members, including secondary and club-managed members, are no longer counted as active. The status logic also aligns with M&O, so Insights and M&O tell a consistent story about who is active. Clubs are encouraged to compare the report with their own records and share any differences with the IGNITE team.
This enables:
- A reliable base count for attrition, joins, and other member metrics
- Consistent active member figures across Insights and M&O
- Confidence in the number leadership relies on for planning and reporting
Accrual View for Accounting Journal Entries
The Accounting Journal Entries report now includes an accrual view, supporting clubs that follow accrual accounting. The report is built on the Financial Data Mart (FDM), and the accrual view completes a set of accrual reports available on FDM, including PIF Cash Liability, Services Revenue Summary, Monthly Billing Statement, and Club Account Sales and Collections. Clubs that run accrual accounting on Commerce can now keep their reporting continuous.
This delivers:
- Journal entries that follow the accrual basis used by finance teams
- Reporting continuity for clubs running accrual accounting on Commerce
- A complete accrual reporting set on FDM
Month-End Collected Actuals
Month-End Collected Actuals is a new report in ABC Insights that gives clubs a second view of monthly revenue. Commerce drafts ACH payments on the next business day when dues fall on a weekend or holiday, and because the Daily Reconciled Deposits Report (DRDR) is cash-based, those dues can appear in the following month. The new report is anchored on the payment-initiation date, showing revenue earned in the month, while the DRDR continues to reconcile cash to the bank. A summary banner shows the drift member count, drift amount, and drift as a share of the month.
This helps clubs:
- Compare cash collected with revenue earned from one month to the next
- Answer timing questions directly in ABC Insights
- Support sales commission reconciliation and board reporting with a clear view of timing differences
Mobile Single Device Registration for Club Check-In (Pilot)
Shared app credentials are one of the ways someone can gain digital club entry without a membership of their own. IGNITE Engagement now allows each member profile to register one device for digital entry. Unregistered devices, or devices beyond the limit, do not generate an entry code, and the scanner setup is unchanged. First use registers the device automatically, and each family member or subaccount has its own device slot. Members can switch devices once every six months without contacting staff, and staff can reset a registered device from the Owner Panel. This feature is in pilot under a feature flag.

- A device-level control on digital entry with no added setup for staff
- Per-profile enforcement for family members and subaccounts
- A way to address unauthorized entry from shared logins
Engage Your Members More Effectively
Event Wait List Order
Staff can now see each member’s position on an event wait list. Positions are assigned automatically based on when each member joined, with the first member receiving position 1. If someone leaves, everyone behind them moves up so there are no gaps, and a member who rejoins goes to the end of the queue. Positions are read-only, which keeps the order fair and consistent, and staff can still enroll any member directly through M&O. The GET Events endpoint also returns a waitListOrder value, so integrations display the same ordering as the dashboard. This is included in IGNITE Membership & Operations version 4.370.2.
This enables:
- Transparent handling of openings in high-demand events
- Clear visibility into who is next in line
- Integrations that show the same wait list order as the dashboard
Challenges (Pilot)
IGNITE Engagement Challenges bring points-based competition to club members, with points earned from the activities members already do. Three new point rules are native to IGNITE: class attendance, appointment attendance, and gym check-in. They join existing rules for workouts, cardio, personal bests, nutrition, and fitness goals. Points post automatically, so staff no longer reconcile them by hand. Authorized staff can create threshold or leaderboard challenges, enroll members in bulk by membership type, recurring service, or location, and members can see a breakdown of exactly where each point came from. The pilot is running with selected accounts under a feature flag, with enrollment managed by staff for this initial release.
This enables:
- Automatic points from class, appointment, and check-in activity
- Less manual tracking through spreadsheets and paper sign-ups
- Member visibility into how each point was earned
Grow Your Business More Strategically
Subscription Analysis Includes Pending Subscriptions
The Subscription Analysis (Ignite) report now includes subscriptions in a PENDING status. Those subscriptions were previously left out, which understated subscription counts and the revenue projections built on them.
This delivers:
- Subscription counts that reflect the full membership base
- More complete inputs for forward revenue projections
- Figures that hold up when shared with leadership or partners
Why These Updates Matter
July’s releases give clubs more reliable numbers and stronger tools to run their operations. Accurate member and subscription counts, accrual-ready reporting, and clearer timing views help leadership plan with confidence. At the same time, wait list transparency, challenges, and device controls keep members engaged and connected to the club.
